#Myparty14 Guidelines and requirements
Each group of students in your class or school should create the following:
b. What do you want to fix?
c. What barriers do you want to overcome?
d. Who are your constituents?
b. Feel free to use rhetoric techniques to persuade viewers to join your party/vote
for your platform.
c. Students must not use copyrighted materials including music, images, video.
They should use open source music and follow fair use guidelines for all
content.
d. Each school will run its own primary according to its own rules with one
winning party.
e. Platforms will be evaluated by voters based on the substance of their platforms
and the persuasiveness of their arguments and campaigns.
f. Upload winning video to Youtube with a one page overview of their party
platform with a link to their full platform.
g. Name, contact information, and link for each school’s winning platform must
be sent to Mike Kaechele at Kent Innovation High by Friday, October 31.
h. On November 3 there will be a state wide vote for the winning
party to be determined.

- Have debates between different parties at your school or between another school participating via the web.
- Contact local and state politicians or others involved in campaigns to learn more about their beliefs and how the process. Invite them to talk to you via chat tools or in person.
- Get involved in a campaign that you believe in.
- Watch the debates and live tweet your thoughts using #MyParty14 hashtag.
